The Cleaning Lead will perform various functions, which primarily involves providing supervisory roles to ensure effective operational delivery of cleaning services. They will oversee, train, and inspect the work of the cleaning team and day porters, ensuring that all procedures are performed to the standards of Ledger. Cleaning leads have the overall responsibility for the day-to-day cleaning operation so that Ledger and its surrounding areas are clean and safe.

You will be onsite each day to achieve the following:

  • Managing and motivating a team of cleaning staff
  • Create and maintain Ledger cleaning protocols and procedures
  • Influence and build best practices playbooks for day porters and cleaning team
  • Assist in hiring and training all day porters and cleaning staff
  • Perform cleaning tasks alongside team
  • Conduct stock management of consumables and supplies
  • Ensure employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their role
  • Deploy and train staff on the use of latest cleaning technology while providing instructions and supervision where necessary
  • Conduct safety briefings 
  • Collaborate with members and team to ensure there are no problems on site
  • Keep close interaction, communication, and coordination with Building Engineer and Member Experience Lead
  • Support in maintaining a highly trained and motivated staff that constantly strives for excellence in cleanliness and service
  • Supervise all employee work to make sure it meets Ledger standards
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and show an example for other employees to emulate
  • Make sure all employees follow company standards by constantly coaching and redirecting performance.
